I started programming at twelve. At twenty-five I built a medical records and billing company and ran it for twenty years. What mattered was not the size of the shop. It was what the system did to the work: less friction, a clear path, something people could run when they were tired.

Why this work
I once spent two years and real money launching an online medical records product. I did the “right” things. I made seven sales. Visitors did not feel safe enough to buy.
That is the same wound I hear from principals now. The meeting went well. Then: “We just felt more comfortable with them.” Skill was not the problem. Being easy to see was.
Clients hire the firm that is easier to see.
A license proves something to peers. Clients hire the firm they can see: a clear next step, honest scope, proof from real work, a plan if something breaks.
